Here are my tips for proving ROI and whether or not you should guarantee any particular results as a freelancer.
Showcase social proof
Case studies are more about results and data
Testimonials typically showcase how I was to work with
Most of my case studies are sent out as needed, but testimonials are public on my website
Set objectives and get aligned on goals
Create a client intake form that helps prioritize their goals
Set S.M.A.R.T. goals (Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Relevant, Timely)
Use these objectives to drive your strategy, budgets, and reporting
Use UTM codes or bit.ly
Use the Facebook Pixel to track conversions and retarget
Send out client reports, even if they don’t ask to see them
